Revenge Zero was to be a point and click adventure game in the style of Sierra/Lucasarts games of the late 80s and early 90s.
Set entirely in one room, the game involved an anonymous protagonist waking up in his studio apartment and going through his morning routine. Upon opening opening the window-blind he is promptly shot through the head by a distant sniper. The game ends and the credits roll. At this point the player has the opportunity to replay the game and explore the apartment further (before opening the blind,) to search for evidence possibly explaining the motives of the sniper.
Revenge Zero was meant to be presented as if it were a vignette preview episode foreshadowing a much larger game. Whether this larger game was ever to be made was still up for debate. (It was possible the game would be the start of a serial where many developers would each create one subsequent chapter based on the end of the previous one.)
The project has been delayed indefinitely since 2006 and may or may not be completed at a future date.
